Learn how easy it is to get around in QuickBooks using QuickBooks forms, lists, and registers to enter your daily business transactions (the functions that serve as the backbone for entering your business data and handle the behind-the-scenes accounting in QuickBooks).

Not an accountant? No worries!!! QuickBooks doesn't require users to learn or understand accounting jargon. However, it does use some common business terms. In this training session, you also will learn basic Accounting 101 concepts to understand how QuickBooks handles transactions and how they flow.

Learning Objectives:

In this 90-minute training session you will learn how to:
  • Use the QuickBooks Forms, Lists, and Registers functions
  • Become familiar with the general Accounting terms you need to know (assets, liabilities, equity, cash vs. accrual bookkeeping, Measuring your Profitability, Looking at the Journal entries for Transactions, etc.)
  • Find information to help you get started
  • Manage your open windows
  • Effectively utilize the Menu, Icon, and Navigation bars
  • Make the Home Page your starting point
About Your Trainer:

Christine H. McHenry, CPA is a QuickBooks ProAdvisor who specializes in QuickBooks training and consulting services.

She graduated from Oglethorpe University in Atlanta with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, and obtained her CPA license in 1997. Christine has been helping small business and individuals with their QuickBooks needs ever since.
